So we’ve done the hard work for you and have the answers to your issue.
What could be the issue with your Sky Q mini box?
Although Sky Q technology is a great idea, they come with a fair deal of issues.
Your Sky Q box needs to establish your IP address so that you can access the internet.
And sometimes if your WiFi signal drops it might not automatically find your IP address again and just needs resetting.
Other times there may be connectivity issues between the main and mini boxes that just need syncing.
Different ways to solve this IP address issue
One option is to reboot your mini box by taking away power for 30 seconds and then reconnecting it.
If that doesn’t work you can try the same steps with the main box and that should work for most.
Another possible solution is that you just need to press the WPS button on the front of your main Sky box.
Make sure to also press the WPS button on the mini box at roughly the same time and it should be able to find it.
