Free Device Storage


  • Touch & hold the app. 
  • Choose “Uninstall.”
  • Select “OK.”
  • Now, open “Gallery” or “File Manager.”
  • Delete all unnecessary pictures and video files that you no longer need.


  • Open “Control Panel.”
  • Select “Uninstall a Program.”
  • Right-click an application.
  • Click “Uninstall.”
  • Click “Yes.

  • Scroll and select “CapCut.”
  • Head to “Storage.
  • Choose “Clear Cache.”
  • Tap “Clear Data.”


  • Open device “Settings.”
  • Head to “General.” 
  • Tap “iPhone Storage” or “iPad Storage.”
  • Choose “CapCut.”
  • Tap “Offload App.”
  • Tap “Offload App” again.

CapCut Desktop App:

  • Open “CapCut.”
  • Click the gear icon.
  • Click “Settings.”
  • Scroll to “Cache Size” and click “Delete.” 
  • Click “OK.”

If you use the BlueStacks emulator for CapCut, do these steps to clear the cache:

  • Open “BlueStacks.”
  • Go to “My Games.”
  • Click “System Apps.” 
  • Select “Android Settings.”
  • Choose “Apps.”
  • Choose “CapCut.”
  • Select “Storage.”
  • Tap “Clear Cache.”

After clearing the CapCut app cache, restart your device, open the app again, and hopefully, the effects will load this time.

  • Access “Settings.”
  • Go to “Apps.”
  • Select “All Apps.”
  • Select “CapCut.”
